Luxury Patio Furniture Continued...

A breakfast panini is two scrambled eggs, bacon, ham and fromagio between grilled and pressed Italian bread. This item was supposed to be phased out as we try to focus on only the southwestern cuisine. However, this one breakfast item has had to stay since so many are made and sold every week for this one meeting. I think that sitting on the luxury patio furniture and eating a panini in the morning before work starts is a fine idea. I'm glad that this item stayed at our restaurant.

Another new regular to our restaurant is the owner of the flower shop across the street. I started doing business with her at the same time I bought the luxury patio furniture. The owner of the flower shop came into our restaurant for the first time after we had started the alfresco dining plan and the delivery of our new luxury patio furniture. The first visit that the flower shop owner made, she was checking on the flower arrangements. The flower arrangements were beautiful. We had a vase at every table with nice local flowers.

I invited her to stay for a meal and to try the luxury patio furniture. She agreed to stay for dinner and tried the Prince Edward Island Mussels in the spicy chipotle broth for an appetizer. She really liked the chipotle flavor which she did not remember ever having tasted before. I recommended that she also have a salad and she chose our house salad. She was very surprised that our house salad had black beans and roasted corn salsa in it with a citrus vinaigrette. I was surprised when she told me that she wanted to try more from our menu because she had never tasted such spicy and fresh tasting cuisine. She told me that she thought that all Mexican food or Southwestern dish had to be covered in cheese.

Most of the dishes that we carry now do not have cheese, or have cheese as a garnish or small accompaniment. I invited a friend to lunch at the restaurant while I was finishing up my shift. My friend asked me for my advice and I said that for lunch, you should definitely eat out on the mezzanine in the luxury patio furniture and order a Cilantro and Shrimp Wrap.

We started all of the wraps on the menu when the mezzanine opened and the luxury patio furniture was delivered. We have a grilled chicken wrap, a grilled tuna wrap, an adobo beef wrap and the cilantro and shrimp wrap. My favorite is the Cilantro and Shrimp Wrap. I grow cilantro at home and put it in lots of different things. I had never tried the combination of cilantro with seafood. I was so impressed with the new wraps that I started trying new recipes at home. It is too bad, though, that I don't have luxury patio furniture at home.
