If you don't have someone to ask to install your sliding patio doors for you, it's really not that difficult to do oneself, as long as you have some basic knowledge and experience using tools and can follow directions. Patio door kits and patio door latches come with comprehensive instructions that allow you to install them yourself with minimal tools and skill. If you are not very experienced or knowledgeable about such things, you may wish to employ the assistance of a friend or two to aid you with installation of the doors and/or patio door latches.
